Welcome to another mani Monday on The Feminine Files! Hope you all had a great weekend, the weather was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous here in NH so we had a lot of fun outside having campfires and smores!
Todays polish is a Covergirl that I found on clearance at my local Hannaford (where I work PT at night.) It was marked down to $2.50, and seeing that I have never tried any Covergirl polish I scooped it up.
The color I chose (Forever Fawn) is interesting…I only picked it because I don’t have any shades like it yet.
So, yah…it kind of looks like I’m wearing nothing, I thought it was just BLAH. LOL Also, the formula was pretty thin, I used 3 coats in the photo above but on the plus side, it did dry fairly quick.
In my opinion, this kind of polish would be best used as a base for nail art, or a sparkly top coat. You could also probably get away with 2 coats if your going to layer a sparkle/glitter over it.
Some top coats I added:
So this neutral nude polish looks great with lots of various top coats like chunky glitter, shimmer, opalescent, and sheer tints! I personally love the way all of them look! 🙂
What is your favorite top coat for neutral (boring) nail polish?
