Hi there friends! Thanksgiving will soon be upon us so what better time then now to show our thanks and gratitude for one another. I am so very thankful for my health, my family and the health of my family. As long as those things are good, then I am happy!
However, there are bunch of other things (products) that I am thankful for, so I got together with some of the ladies from The Beauty and Fashion Blog Community on FB and we are doing a “thankful” themed blog hop! (Make sure to stop by their blogs to see what they are thankful for, links are at the end of my post!) 🙂
OK, so there are a lot more than 5 products that I am thankful for, but the ones that made my list are things I use on a daily basis!
Because duh, I’m a mom, a blogger, and I work part time at night. No other explanation needed! Seriously though, I love coffee so much that if I (for some reason) woke up in the AM to find we were out of coffee I will get slightly panicky. (GREAT, Now what am I going to do!?) Also, if someone tells me that they don’t like coffee, I will most likely give them the hairy eyeball…(HOW DO YOU SURVIVE??) I like my coffee with sugar and So Delicious coconut creamer (it’s the best non-dairy creamer I’ve tried!)
We live in a technology world, and I am a technology girl… Anyway, like most people I use my phone for everything. Photos, the web, alarm, calculator, flashlight, and oh yah, phone calls, the options are endless! However, I mostly use my phone to take photos of my adorable kiddos (pictured above) and photos for my blog. I want to upgrade to a DSLR at some point in my life, but this will do for now. “That’ll do phone, that’ll do…”
Gone are the days of applying makeup with our fingers (or those wedge thingy-s.) Fact: Makeup brushes are addicting. You think “ok, I have this nice foundation brush and I’m all set.” Yah, until the next thing comes out and your like “WOW, I can’t even believe I was getting by using my OLD brush!” They have a brush for everything now…and I want them all. What’s your favorite makeup brush…is it even possible to pick?!
Free Online Photo Editors:
Take your photos from drab to fab! Crop, lighten, shine reduce, add text…there are so many great options available to enhance your photos and once I started doing it, there was no going back. Sure it takes a bit longer, but the final photo looks a million times better and more polished compared to when it came off my camera. 2 of my favorites to use are Pic Monkey (best for editing photos and collages) and Canva (best for making custom banners for social media and adding fancy embellishments like shapes and lines.)
Gotta have at least one beauty item in here right?! I hardly ever leave the house to go somewhere without putting on concealer first. As someone who struggles with acne, there is always a few spots to cover up. My current favorite is L’oréal’s Visible Lift Blur Concealer. It gives great coverage without looking cake-y and it stays on all day. $12.99 at Ulta.
