We are in the middle of winter here in NH and we are actually expecting a big blizzard tonight! Although I do love seeing my kids have fun in the snow, anyone who lives in NE knows that shoveling and driving in it is another story. Spring still seems very far away, but Zoya has created a beautiful line of transitional polishes to help ease you from the deep dark winter hues to the fun spring pastels.
The Zoya Naturel Satins polishes come in soft creamy hues and are meant to be worn without a top coat to achieve that satiny finish that is supposed to be a hybrid between a glossy and a matte finish. You can add a top coat if you want to wear them glossy though. The formulas are all pretty wonderful and they all were opaque in 2 coats. I found it best to keep your coats on the thinner side to help achieve a smoother finish. The shades and finishes of these polishes would be perfect for a wedding or for wear at the office!
Brittany is a dusty rose mauve creme.
Sage (which is the perfect name for this) is a mossy green creme.
Ana is described as a light toasted almond, but I think it looks more like a soft bone white. This is actually one of my favorites!
Tove is misty slate grey with strong blue tones.
Rowan is a suede taupe that is a flattering brown for lighter skin tones.
Leah is described as a lavender tinged taupe creme. The lavender aspect is very light and it doesn’t translate too well on the camera.
I didn’t think I was really going to like this collection since I normally go for bright/bold nail colors but most of them actually blew me away and I absolutely LOVE the satin finish! Some of my favorites are Ana, Brittany & Tove! They are $9 each and are available now on Zoya.com.
What are your favorites from this collection? Are you going to be picking any up?
