I am so excited to be partnering with butter London again, and this time I have the allure & butter London Arm Candy Collection to show you! I also have an extra set to give away to 1 lucky reader, so keep scrolling and check out these pretty new polishes. ($15 ea.)
The allure & butter London Arm Candy Collection consists of 6 single shades and a 4 piece set with tons of gorgeous fall hues. I have to be honest, when I first saw the 6 individual polishes that were sent to me I was kind of “meh” about the looks, but once I applied them, I realized that I love the majority of them. Looks can be deceiving my friends…
Lust or Must?
Lust or Must is a charcoal brown creme meaning it leans more of a cool brown than a warm brown. It applied nicely in 2 coats (which most of these did.)
It’s Vintage is a an opaque burnt orange creme. I love the name because it does have that vintage feel and it is so prefect for fall. I like this one more than I thought I would! 2 coats.
Nude Stilettos is described as a sheer pink-nude creme. I don’t get much pink out of this, but nonetheless, I think I’ve found the prefect nude shade for my pale skin! It looks so polished and refined and would be great for office wear or a wedding! This is 2 coats, but you could probably get more opacity with 3.
Statement Piece is a stunning orange-red creme. Lately I have been leaning more toward warm reds rather than cool ones, I just think they look so much more fresh! Again, this is 2 coats.
I’m On The List
I’m On The List is a rose gold metallic. This is the only one I had a bit of application trouble with, as I do with most metallic polishes. It’s just a bit too streaky for my tastes, but 2 coats covered well.
Disco Nap is a textured charcoal glitter. This is a nice thinner textured glitter that applied very smoothly. (I only used 1 coat!) It dries to a rough/textured finish (think Zoya Magical PixieDust formula.) If you are not a fan of the textured look/feeling, you can make it smooth with a top coat. Though, it did take 4 coats of top coat to make it completely smooth because the first 2 pretty much get absorbed into the texture.
