Greetings all! I am so happy it’s Friday, but this Friday is even sweeter because next week is school vacation week! Mainly, that means I don’t have to go outside in the mornings and into the frigid world. 🙂 Do any of you have plans for the upcoming weekend? The girls and I are probably going to hang out with our buddies while the guys get together for their manly night of poker and scotch LOL!
Anyway, the Yes To brand is probably one that you’ve heard of before. They have been around for a while now, 10 years to be exact, and they are known for making deliciously wonderful “food themed” skin care lines. Their newest line is called Yes To Coconut and I have 3 of the products to share with you today, but there are a total of 13 new products in the collection! I spotted a few other things that I want to pick up on my last trip to Ulta. (Of course my oldest had to get in the pic.) 😉
You will want to say Yes To Coconut…
Today is all about coconuts but just so you know, ALL of Yes To’s products are certified Cruelty Free and made with at least 95% natural ingredients, meaning they come from naturally renewable resources found in nature. It will say right on the front of the package what the percentage is, so you don’t have to play any guessing games. The Yes To Coconut line is all about hydrating and restoring dry, cracked skin and repairing damaged hair. Oh, and did I mention they all have a scrumptious tropical coconut scent! Pass the Piña Colada please…
- As someone with combo/acne-prone skin, the Ultra Hydrating Melting Cleanser kind of intimidated me when I first saw it. However, it has quickly climbed the list of favorite cleansers and it might even be my favorite of all time! It is a super thick balm (think if Aquaphor & Vaseline had a baby) and you can use it with water, or on dry skin. I prefer to start on dry skin because once it touches water it starts melting away pretty quickly. I massage about a dime size amount over my dry face for about a minute to really make sure all of my makeup is dissolving. Then I rinse with water thoroughly. My face still feels greasy while I am rinsing and the first time I used it I though “no way is this going to work.” However, once my face dries there is no greasy feeling at all, just soft and clean skin…and no residual breakouts. I seriously LOVE this stuff and will most definitely re-stock when I run out. This is 99% natural and it’s an ULTA Exclusive– $9.99.
- Next up, the Ultra Hydrating Facial Mask is a 10 minute treatment that is perfect for those with extra dry skin. Like I said, my skin is combo/oily so I’m not the ideal target but I have used it a few times and it really helps my skin feel smooth. (I have been indulging my skin more than usual with all of this freezing weather we’ve been having.) It has a light, slippery like lotion feel and spreads very easily onto the skin. Simply rub on a generous layer, relax for 10 minutes, then wipe away with a warm damp cloth. I also like to slather it on my poor dry, cracked hands and slip them into gloves for a few minutes while it works it’s magic. It is 96% natural and retails for $15.99.
- Lastly, we have the Ultra Hydrating Overnight Eye Balm. I actually have another cream that I use at night, so I have been using this in the morning which seems to be working out just fine. It’s concocted of coconut oil, shea butter and argan oil, yet it’s surprisingly lightweight. It sinks into skin quickly, so it’s actually ideal for using under my makeup and the pump top applicator is a plus in my book. I think this cream would be best for those with the beginning signs of aging like faint crows feet and dryness. This is 96% natural and is also an Ulta Exclusive– $15.99
