Hey lovely readers, I’ve got some more new drugstore polish shades to show you today! Last week I showed you a couple of new Sally Hansen colors, and today I have 3 of the 10 new Revlon shades that I recently spotted at CVS! All of the new shades were really pretty and it took me forever to decide on these ones. However, I wanted some brighter colors for Spring and these 3 really called out to me.
I really like that these have a “new shade” sticker on the cap so there is no doubt that they are in fact, new! I think Revlon has a decent polish formula all around, but I really don’t care for the brush. It’s thin and round, which makes it hard to quickly cover the nail with an even coat. Thats just me being picky though.
Adventurous is a medium coral with a slight shimmer to it, which you can only slightly see in my photo. The formula is kind of thin, but it’s fairly opaque so 2 thin coats worked well.
Desirable is a cool pink glitter. The shade was extremely thin so it took 3 coats to get it looking opaque. I was a little disappointed with the thinness of it and the color didn’t really wow me like I thought it would for some reason.
Irresistible is a medium periwinkle blue cream. I knew I was going to get this color as soon as I saw it! The formula is a little thin and somewhat sheer, but with 2 thicker coats it was completely opaque.
The blue and the coral were definitely my favorites here, and there were a few other colors that I didn’t get that looked really pretty too (like Hypnotic). To me, Revlon polishes aren’t anything mind blowing, but they are great for easily adding new and fun colors to my polish collection because they are available pretty much everywhere! The Revlon core polishes retail for about $5.99 depending on where you live and where you buy from.
Do you see any colors from their new shades that you like?
