Greetings friends! It’s officially the first day of school summer vacation and I am already loving it. No more daily deadlines & rushing around for the first half of my day until next year. #byefelicia
So, I’m back with the other half of the Zoya summer nail polish releases. A few days ago I reviewed the Sunsets Collection and if you love bold & fun cremes, you need to go check it out. Today though, is all about the glitzy Seashells Collection which consists of 6 classy shimmering shades. $10 each
I have always loved the Zoya Pixie Dust formula & finish so I’m glad they brought it back with this recent launch. The Pixie Dusts are meant to be worn without a top coat and they dry to a textured/ sandpaper type feel, but it’s smooth enough to not catch on everything. However, you CAN add a top coat for a glossy look that really brings out the sparkle but I usually end up needing about 2-3 coats of a top coat because the pixie dust finish just sucks it up. For some shades though the end result is worth it. For all my swatches I used 2 coats.
Linds is described as a cherry red, textured PixieDust with red and fuchsia glitter.
Bay is an aqua blue with gold and silver glitter. This color is so pretty, but in my opinion is way more amazing with a top coat, check it out! ↓
Levi is a beige gold with small holographic hex glitter pieces. I don’t usually like many gold polishes, but this one has a nice neutral base (not too yellow) so it’s very pretty and would be flattering for a lot of skin tones.
Zooey is probably one of the most amazing pinks I’ve seen in a long time. It’s a deep pink with flecks of gold & purple/blue glitter. (It kind of reminds me of a glittery version of Happi.) Here is Zooey with a top coat, which makes it incredibly gorgeous ↓
Cece is a lime green with gold & dark green sparkle. It definitely reminds me of a Sprite! 😀
Tilly is a light grey/silver with speck of blue which gives it a pretty starry night effect.
At first glance just from looking at the bottles, this collection didn’t really wow me but after wearing them I can safely say they are all definitely gorgeous. My favorites here though are Zooey, Bay and Levi!
What shades are you loving from the Seashells Collection? Or are you more of a creme polish girl?
