A few years ago, a good friend let me try her new favorite face mask and hair mask from Arbonne, a company I hadn’t previously heard of. Even after only a few used of each product, I was pretty blown away with their performance. I had no idea they also sold makeup, and when I was contacted a few weeks ago in regards to reviewing some, I was really excited. If they were anything like the skin & hair care items I tried, I knew they would be good!
- Blush, which is also available in 7 other shades
- Tinted Brow Cream
- A dual sided Brow Pencil
I received the shade Apricot, which is a radiant peach with a subtle golden glow. It only produced a small amount of dust when I first swirled my brush over it, but after that there was no more. I was glad to see that because super powdery blushes are a pain to work with. It is soft, easy to blend onto my cheeks, and lasted me more than 9 hours. All of their other blush shades look equally gorgeous. $30 each
SHAPE IT UP TINTED BROW CREAM
I received the Tinted Brow Cream in the shade Light/Medium, but it is also available in Medium/Dark. It comes in a mascara style tube with a tiny spoolie at the end. The color is a great match for my brows, and I love that it really holds them in place once it dries. It does have a slight sheen to it even when dry, but it doesn’t bother me. The only thing about this brow cream that I’m not a huge fan of is that a lot of product comes out when you pull out the brush and it has to be wiped off, resulting in wasted product. Other than that, its very easy to work with and gives my thin wispy brows some fullness and natural color. $32
SHAPE IT UP BROW PENCIL
I received the Brow Pencil in Dark, but it also comes in Light, and Medium. I love dual brow pencils that come with a brush on the other end. However, some other brands that I’ve tried in the past have had hard/dry pencils that are difficult to use. Thankfully, that’s not the case with this one! The pencil has the perfect amount of softness to easily color in the brow area and the spoolie helps blend out any areas that are too dark. $32
I assumed these products would be great, and I was right! 🙂 All of them are now current staples in my makeup routine and I switch between the brow cream and pencil daily, because I can’t decide which one I like better. The Apricot is a great blush color for summer and fall, and their Taffeta shade looks like it would be perfect for winter! If you are in search for some high quality makeup, I strongly suggest checking out this company.
Arbonne is also a cruelty- free & Leaping Bunny certified brand!
