I rarely buy hyped up, limited edition items. HOWEVER, I was in the market for a new blush palette and this just so happened to be available early to Ulta Platinum members. The rest is history… or not, but I bought the damn palette. Obviously!
I don’t own any Becca blushes so this palette was a super good deal for me. Their standard full size blushes are .2 oz for around $32 each. The blushes in this palette are .16 oz (Wisteria & Songbird), and Snapdragon is .13 oz, making the $34 price tag seem really good. Plus, the beautiful packaging is just way too hard to pass up. The case is sleek and sturdy with a full size mirror inside. Don’t forget, this palette is limited edition, so if you want it, you better snap it up while you can.
Becca Blushed with Light Palette
All of the blushes in the Blushed with Light Palette are very nicely pigmented. However, they do kick up a bit of excess, so I prefer to lightly tap my brush on them instead of swirling. So far, I have only tried Wisteria and it lasted me over 6 hours.
The shades include:
- Wisteria– a new shade that will only be available in this palette. It is a matte mauve/rose.
- Songbird– one of their best selling mineral blushes. This is a warm orange/pink with a luminous finish.
- Snapdragon– a fan favorite from their luminous blush line. (This was the sheerest of the bunch.) It is a warm coral/pink with a golden shimmer.
So, to wrap things up, the Becca Blushed with Light Palette definitely gets 2 thumbs up from me! The colors are all gorgeous and creamy and I can use this all year round. Songbird looks like it will be perfect for the summer! If you are on the fence and don’t already own a lot of Becca blushes, I would say “YES”, you need this palette! It’s very pretty and such a great deal at $34. (The retail value is about $77.)
