Welcome lovely readers to my second Holiday Beauty post of the 2016 season! I know, I know… it’s not even Halloween yet. Truthfully, I love Christmas so much and it’s never too early for me to start getting excited for the things to come. Butter London has been one of my favorite nail polish brands for years now. I love the bottles, the cheeky names, and the formulas are almost always perfect! So, when I saw they released a new adorable CheerFull 6-piece Petite Lacquer Collection I knew I had to get one. News flash, mini lacquer (and lipstick) sets are my weakness.
This set is perfect for gifting! You can give it as one big present, or you can separate it into 2 smaller sets of 3 to use as stocking stuffers or in a gift basket. There is even a “To: & From:” spot on the back for easy labeling. These mini lacquers are .1 oz each and their standard size polishes are .4 oz. So that means you are paying a tiny bit more per ounce, but the cute packaging makes it worth it to me!
When I received the package in the mail, I was immediately happy that I bought it. There are 2 creams & 4 shimmer shades and the pictures online do them no justice! Come To Bed Red is the only shade you can find in their permanent line. As far as I know, all of the other colors are exclusive to this set. (Please correct me if I’m wrong!) The formulas were all fantastic. For all but one shade, I used 2 coats.
Hot Totty is a creamy nude with golden shimmer. I actually love this color a lot!
COME TO BED RED
Come To Bed Red is a classic, sexy red. A must have for any holiday party.
Figgy Pudding is a vampy plum with a sparkling cranberry shimmer. (Now who doesn’t have “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” stuck in their head??)
Swinging London is a soft shimmering white. It reminds me of a snow covered field that sparkles in the sunlight. This was 3 thin coats.
Wine Gums is a warm blackberry cream. Any decent red wine lover, knows all about wine gums (and teeth and lips) lol!
Beezer is a pale orchid with golden shimmer. Unfortunately, the gold shimmer didn’t capture well on camera, but it’s much more noticeable in person.
All in all, I am so impressed with this little set and it definitely makes a cute gift. If you need to stretch your budget a little, just break it up into 2 mini gifts! My favorite shades here are Figgy Pudding, Hot Totty, and Beezer!
