OK you guys, October is over and I am all about the Holidays from here on out! This is my favorite time of year (besides summer) but after Christmas, it all goes downhill haha… So I really take full advantage and embrace this time as much as I can. Also, I’m planning out a few gift guides that I will post in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for those! (To make it easy, you can find everything Holiday related in the “Holiday 2016” tab at the top of the page.) ↑
Today though, I am sharing the stunning Zoya Enchanted Collection for Holiday 2016. I am so in love with this release and you will be too, especially if you love Zoya’s Pixie Dust formula! The Enchanted Collection consists of 4 Pixie Dust shades and 2 new “color flip metallic” shades, which are basically like color shift polishes.
Some people love the Pixie Dusts, some people hate them. Personally, I am a big fan. I think they are so easy to apply, they dry quickly, and the formula helps to conceal any nail flaws you may have. They do dry to a sandpaper like texture, but 1 or 2 clear top coats will make them shiny, smooth, and oh-so sparkly! (A base coat is not required with the Pixie Dust polishes, but I always use one anyway.)
Alice is a medium periwinkle with magenta and blue sparkles. I’m usually not a huge fan of purples, but this is gorgeous and leans very blue to me.
Olivera is described as having an indigo base, with a green and purple shift. This is a lovely color, but unfortunately, the color flip is much more noticeable in the bottle.
Waverly is a STUNNING deep sapphire blue with light blue sparkles. (See it with a top coat here!)
Lorna is a luscious cranberry with a magenta sparkle. Surprisingly, this is another favorite of mine! (See it with a top coat here!)
Saint has a periwinkle base with a pink/magenta flip. This color shift is much more noticeable on the nails! Isn’t it beautiful?!
Elphie is described as a bewitching emerald green with a light green sparkle.
Honestly, I think the Zoya Enchanted Collection is compete perfection! The formulas are amazing, and I only needed 2 coats for each shade. I would say that my only gripe is that Olivera’s shift isn’t more noticeable on the nails. However, it is still an amazing green so I guess I can get over it. My favorites here though are Alice, Lorna, Saint, and Waverly! They also have some really cute gift sets available (at fantastic prices), and if you purchase one you can get a free full size polish with code SCORE at checkout. (Valid only until 11/6)
The polishes retail for $10 each and you can find them on Zoya.com, and in most Ulta stores nation wide.
