In my opinion, the Holidays are stressful enough, without trying to plan a put together makeup look. Especially if you are the one hosting a get together. I was recently sent the new Glo Minerals Bold Pursuit set from the Pretty Persuasion Holiday Collection and I thought how perfect it would be for an easy Holiday look. Almost everything you need for a glam look (besides mascara, blush and foundation) is in this cute little set, so there is no overthinking required!
This is actually my first time trying anything from Glo Minerals so I wasn’t sure what to expect, performance and quality wise. Well, I’m happy to report that everything I used gets 2 thumbs up from me! Let’s take a closer look at everything included in this set, then I’ll show you the easy look I created.

The lipstick included is the shade Date Night, a perfect cranberry red. (FYI, my swatches make it look like more of a bright red, but in reality, it has a slighter darker/deeper tone. The formula feels a bit stiff upon first applying, but as it warms up, it becomes easier to glide across the lips. The shade Date Night is exclusive to this set. Their lipsticks retail for $18.
The Liquid Ink Eyeliner has a super slender felt tip applicator and the color dries down to a semi gloss finish. I found that I needed to shake this up before I use it, or else it is slightly watery. I think it has nice pigmentation and you can get a fairly precise line with it. Also, it dries quickly and doesn’t transfer to my upper lid. #hoodedlidproblems. It doesn’t rub off easily with a dry hand, but with water it comes right off. Which can be good or bad, depending on how much staying power you are looking for. Personally, for me it was fine! This retails for $16.50 and only comes in black.
I am a big fan of eye shadow sticks, and these babies definitely did not disappoint! The 2 shades include Echo (a medium matte brown), and Toast (a glittering gold) and they are exclusive to this set. It was definitely love at first swatch! They are incredibly creamy, pigmented, and they lasted me all day without creasing! Also, I found them easy to blend while still holding good color. They retail for $20 each.
The Eye Pencil included is in the shade Peach. It is not exclusive to the box, so you can find it with their other liners. I usually don’t wear eyeliner on my bottom lash line because I think it looks too harsh. However, this light, creamy shade really brightens up my whole eye area. Which is something we could all use come Holiday time, am I right? This retails for $16
See what I mean about the lipstick? In my pictures it looks more cherry red, but it’s definitely more of a deep cranberry. (Kind of like the red parts of my shirt!) Overall, I am so in love with this look and these products. I didn’t apply the liquid eyeliner in my pictures, because I am not the best at it and I didn’t want to mess up my look. However, I did try it out afterwards and it was really easy to line my top lid. I haven’t attempted a wing with it just yet though! This set is also a super great value. You are pretty much saving yourself $42 by buying everything as a set as opposed to separately!
