I love lipstick with a passion, but I’ve never really been that much of a lip gloss girl. Most of the time I find lip glosses to be too sticky and not pigmented enough, so I usually forgo them altogether. However, Osmosis has never failed me in the past with their Foundation, Concealer, and Lipsticks, so I decided to take a leap of faith on their glosses!
The Osmosis Mineral Lip Glosses are available in 6 shades, and I have 3 of them to show you today! Each of their glosses has a creamy, rich texture and “3D pigments” to enhance the fullness of your lips. They also help to encourage softer lips thanks to the addition of hydrating jojoba and sunflower oils. Some of the glosses are sheer, while others have rich, more opaque coverage.
These glosses also have a light, fruity strawberry scent that is pleasant, yet fades quickly enough to not be bothersome. I think that they are very cushiony feeling on the lips and only slightly sticky. I get about 3 hours of wear from the more pigmented shades, and only 2 hours from the sheer one. Which isn’t all that bad in my book. They are housed in a sturdy glass container and are equipped with a tapered doe-foot applicator.
- Berry Frost is a warm, rich red with cranberry shimmer
- Lilac is a sheer purple with shimmer
- Bare is a creamy, warm terra-cotta nude with a subtle hint of shimmer
I do enjoy all of these shades and the formula is very comfortable to wear. I think my favorites here are Berry Frost and Bare because of their opacity, but I think I may try Lilac as a topper over some lipsticks! It looks like they have some great options for fall & winter shades in their line, and Cinnamon Kiss just might be next on my list to try.
