Greetings nail polish lovers! Incase you haven’t heard by now, Pantone has announced that their 2017 Color of the Year is Greenery. Now, this might not be the best shade for makeup items, but it’s a lovely shade for fashion, jewelry, and of course, nail polish! I really have a thing for green nail polish. Thats why I was a bit surprised when I realized that pink was the largest group out of all my colors! I thought for sure it would be blue or green, but oh well, I still have a great collection.
So, I dug through my stash and these 5 were the closest match to Greenery the official Pantone 2017nail polish shade released by Butter London.
ESSIE VICES VERSA
Vices Versa is a vivid chartreuse green and it has a very thin formula. I used 3 coats and you can still see some visible nail line. Even though, I love this color and it dries to a semi matte finish which is really neat looking. – $9
Tantalize is a mossy yellow/green shimmer. This also has a very thin formula, and I used 3 coats here as well. I think it works better over a dark green nail color though. -$4
OPI YOU ARE SO OUTTA LIME!
You are So Outta Lime! is a bright, cool toned lime green. This is 2 coats. -$4.99
Tatum is a neon chartreuse chrome. This is such a gorgeous color, and I only used 2 coats here. $14
Cece is a lemon-lime green in their famous pixie dust formula. I love the Pixie Dust polishes because they are so quick and easy if you need a nice mani in a pinch. They require no base or top coat, and dry quicker than regular polish. – $10
Even though these are all slightly different, I LOVE all of them! Although, I would have to say that Cece, You are So Outta Lime, and Tatum are my absolute favorites.
Do you like the 2017 Pantone Color of the Year choice? Which of these nail polishes are your favorite?
