Pur Cosmetics is one of my favorite cruelty free makeup brands. So I was obviously excited when they released their new PUR Cosmetics Pro Eyelashes collection. Now, for those of you who don’t know me or visit my blog regularly, I am a total false lash newbie. I think I’ve only ever worn them once or twice before, but I found them to be a pain to apply so I gave up. I was sticking to mascara. However, this new gorgeous collection of lashes motivated me to practice my application, and I’m so happy that I did!
Seriously, how pretty are these lashes?! The holographic packaging is to die for as well! Also, all of the boxes have a magnetic closure which feels really nice. These cruelty free lashes were created in collaboration with Mélanie Viger (@MUAVEE), a popular IGer and makeup artist. The 3D silk lashes are designed to enhance all eye shapes and blend seamlessly with your natural lashes. There are many different styles available ranging from natural to ultra glam. Personally, I love that they feel lightweight and have a solid black strip instead of one that looks like a dashed line.
PUR Cosmetics Pro Eyelashes
The Socialite lashes are graduated light volume lashes. They are longer in the middle and outer corners for the perfect winged eye look.
The Trendsetter lashes are light volume with alternating lengths for a natural seamless look.
The Diva lashes are medium volume and great for adding length. They are also perfect for transitioning from day to night.
The Flirt lashes are medium volume with dramatic length.
The Bombshell lashes are high volume and they are longer in the middle and outer corners.
The Jet Setter lashes are high volume and they are longer in the center with alternating lash thickness.
So, like I said earlier, I’m not very skilled in the application process and it did take me quite a while to get them right. That being said, I am thrilled with the final results! I absolutely love the Socialite lashes, they look so natural and feel very comfortable. I probably wouldn’t wear the boldest Jet Setter lashes anywhere, but that is just my personal style. They are very dramatic though if that is something you are into! The only thing I don’t like is that these don’t come with glue, so you will have to buy your own. Julie from Collective Beauty (my false lash loving friend) swears by the House of Lashes glue, but in a pinch I stopped by Ulta and picked up the Ardell Duo Glue and it worked fine.
> The Pur Cosmetics Pro Eyelashes retail for $14 each and you can find them exclusively at PurCosmetics.com!
