Polish lovers rejoice, because not only is the new LVX Fall Winter 2017 Collection gorgeous, the polishes are also 7-free, vegan & cruelty free! This is my first time reviewing an LVX collection on the blog, so I am pretty excited. Before we get to the beautiful goodies, I’ll share a little bit of info about the brand. LVX is a luxury nail company that translates the latest emerging trends and runway colors into ultra-pigmented nail lacquer collections. All LVX products are made in the USA and are also gluten free. Now, let’s get to the good stuff, shall we?
The LVX Fall Winter 2017 Collection consists of 3 metallics, 2 creams, and 1 glitter shade. Just like the company claims, the polishes are indeed very pigmented and could almost be considered one coaters. However, as always, I used 2 coats in all of my swatches. The formulas were fantastic and I didn’t have any trouble with them. The glitter one was a bit difficult to remove, but soaking the nails in an acetone based remover first should help with that.
LVX Fall Winter 2017 Collection
Millennial is a soft pink/nude cream. Great for everyday wear on the tips or toes!
Rouge is a deep candy apple red metallic. Red polishes usually aren’t my thing, but dang this one is pretty!
French Rosé is a warm rose gold/copper metallic. Such a perfect fall shade! This one can be a bit streaky, so just be careful while applying. (2 thin coats works best.)
Verdant is a stunning metallic olive green with yellow gold shimmer. This is easily my favorite of the bunch!
Stardust is a cool silver shimmer with various sizes of hex glitter throughout. This was nice and wasn’t too “bumpy” looking.
Mulberry is a deep berry with a hint of brown undertone. This is probably my second favorite shade!
So, it’s safe to say that this collection is pretty awesome. It’s got something for everyone and it can take you from fall right into winter with ease! My favorites here would have to be Verdant, Mulberry, French Rosé, and Rouge.
What are your favorite shades from this collection?
