It’s finally Friday beauty pals! We are supposed to be going camping today, but we are currently waiting for the rain to stop. Personally, I can’t think of much worse than setting up camp in the rain! I shouldn’t complain though, because we really lucked out weather wise with every other trip we’ve taken this summer. So, while I’m waiting for the skies to clear, I have some more new goodies from It Cosmetics to share with you. I just posted about their Bye Bye Lines Foundation, and I thought the new Bye Bye Under Eye Concealing Pot would be a good follow up to that review.
The new Bye Bye Under Eye Concealing Pot comes in 6 shades ranging from Light to Warm Deep. I love the original Bye Bye Under Eye concealer, so I was very excited to try out these new concealing pots! The pots provide the same award-winning coverage of the original concealer, plus skin smoothing, line minimizing, and anti-aging technology. It has a lightweight, long wear formula that covers without creasing or cracking. The formula also contains skin loving hydrolyzed collagen, hyaluronic acid, and antioxidants.
As you can see, like their fair foundation, the light shade is very pale. I’m sure it will work for me in the winter, but right now I am using Medium. To be honest, I could probably also get away with using Medium Tan, which is light enough, but has a more yellow undertone. I have slight sun spots under my eyes and I think this does just as good of a job as their original concealer. It has a very firm texture in the pot and just like the original, a little goes a long way. The finish is fairly dewy, but the dewy-ness does fade with time. It really did last me all day with no creasing, which is a huge annoyance of mine. I kept checking my skin in the mirror and felt like it looked really good! 🙂
So, I think it’s safe to say that the Bye Bye Under Eye Concealing Pot is a new favorite of mine! I haven’t even thought about their original concealer since I received this one. Which is saying a lot because I used to use that one every day. I’m not saying that that one is no good, I just think that I dig this one a little bit more. I really like that the dewy-ness of the concealing pot fades over time, because it looks slightly more natural that way. The pots contain .17 oz and they retail for $28.
