Monday morning greetings beauty fam! We had so much fun this past weekend. Friday was my fiancee’s yearly work party at his bosses’ house on the lake! First we cruised around on his pontoon boat, came back to eat some food, then went out on the speedboat! My girls went tubing with their dad, but the water was cold and I was too chicken to go. Maybe next year, haha! Anyway, moving right along in my reviews of new It Cosmetics products, I think todays post will really help illuminate your makeup game.
First up, lets talk about the new Your Skin But Better CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder Illumination. This new sheer-to-full coverage finishing veil is your best selling CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder, now infused with micronized pigments of light for a lit-from-within finish without glitter or shimmer. It also contains anti-aging hydrolyzed silk, hydrolyzed collagen, niacin and peptides, for soft and radiant skin.
I haven’t used this alone yet, so I can’t attest to how full coverage it actually is. However, I love to use it as a finishing powder over the Bye Bye Lines Foundation and it gives me a wonderful glow while keeping my shine at bay. Right now I am wearing the shade Medium, but I might be able to get away with Medium Tan or Tan in the summer since the shades run a bit light. (I’m hoping Fair works for me in the winter.) I also love that it has SPF 50, because most sunscreens break me out. I like this one a lot better than the original Celebration Foundation since that one tends to make my skin look a bit dry. $35
Now, lets talk about the new Perfect Lighting Radiant Touch Magic Wand. This 2-in-1 concealer and correcting brightener provides instant coverage, radiance, and lift. The Drops of Light Technology™ and hydrolyzed pearl neutralizes, corrects, and blurs the appearance of skin imperfections without shimmer or glitter. Anti-aging collagen, peptides, licorice root, and green tea help to make your skin appear younger and brighter. It can also be used as a highlighter for your brow, lip, eye, and cheek areas!
Radiant Honey was a bit too dark for me so I gifted that to a friend. However, Radiant Neutral and Radiant Light work great on my skin tone! Radiant Light definitely has more of a pink tone, and Neutral is, well, more neutral! lol I prefer to use this as a highlighter like they suggested. When used alone over foundation I don’t think it gives my sunspots quite enough coverage. If I use it in conjunction with the Bye Bye Under Eye Concealing Pots though, I get great coverage and a nice, subtle glow. I would have to say that Radiant Neutral is my favorite of the three! $29
I’m usually not a fan of powder foundations, but the new CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder Illumination is so good! I have been using it every day since I got it, and I don’t plan on stopping. 😀 Have you tried anything new from It Cosmetics lately?
