Greetings all! I received these Dermablend Flawless Creator drops from Influenster a few weeks ago, but haven’t had the chance to review them until now. However, I have been using them quite often, and I have to say that I’m really enjoying them. This was my first experience using liquid pigment drops, so I had to trial and error the best application for me.
One thing that is so fantastic about this product is that it is completely customizable to your foundation preference. You can wear it straight out of the bottle for amazing full coverage (which is what I prefer), or you can mix it with a medium (such as a serum) for a more sheer look. Today, I will be focusing on how well it preforms as a lightweight, yet full coverage foundation.
I received the shade 10N, which is the second lightest shade in the range. There are 20 total shades available. This water and oil free formula contains 33% liquid makeup pigment which allows for weightless, buildable coverage. For my favorite finish, I apply about 6 drops to my face then blend it out with a beauty sponge. It really blends effortlessly and has a super light and slightly silicone like feel with a satin finish. When worn without a setting powder it lasts me about 6 hours before fading on oily areas like my nose & chin. When I use a setting powder on top, I get an average of 10 hours of wear before fading occurs.
I’ve filmed a quick video so you can see my application process and how much coverage I get from using straight drops. This stuff is pretty great. I love the way it feels and looks on my skin, and for the amount of coverage you get there is no heavy “mask like” feel like some full coverage foundations. (i.e. Urban Decay All Nighter, Estēe Lauder Double Wear.) Although, this doesn’t have the same stellar lasting power as the other 2 aforementioned brands… It’s all about trade offs I suppose.
→ The Dermablend Flawless Creator drops retail for $40 and you can find them on Ulta.com.
In the video I also used:
- Pur No Filter Primer
- It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara
- It Cosmetics Brow Power Powder in Universal Taupe
- Tarte Cosmetics Graceful Blush from the Blush Bliss Palette
- Too Faced La Matte Lipstick in Pitch Perfect
What do you think of the Dermablend Flawless Creator drops? Have used used a liquid pigment before?
